Someone Must Stand Up For What’s Right

Music for Times Like These:
HANDS’ by Jewel Kilcher

Lyrics: By AZ Lyrics

“Hands”

If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we’re all OK
And not to worry ’cause worry is wasteful
And useless in times like these

I won’t be made useless
Won’t be idle with despair
I’ll gather myself around my faith
For light does the darkness most fear

My hands are small, I know
But they’re not yours, they are my own
But they’re not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken

Poverty stole your golden shoes
It didn’t steal your laughter
And heartache came to visit me
But I knew it wasn’t ever after

We’ll fight, not out of spite
For someone must stand up for what’s right
‘Cause where there’s a man who has no voice
There ours shall go singing

My hands are small I know
But they’re not yours, they are my own
But they’re not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken

In the end, only kindness matters
In the end, only kindness matters

I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray
I will get down on my knees, and I will pray

My hands are small, I know
But they’re not yours, they are my own
But they’re not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken

My hands are small, I know
But they’re not yours, they are my own
But they’re not yours, they are my own
And I am never broken
We are never broken

We are God’s eyes
God’s hands
God’s mind
We are God’s eyes
God’s hands
God’s heart
We are God’s eyes
We are God’s hands
We are God’s eyes

I like that circle chart a LOT. I saw a couple different angles. I was trying to see how it might match the calendar Tones.. and it does, only it kinda flips to a more positive reflection of what to do about each one.

Unity is “bondage” and bondage turns me to my last hope. By Thanksgiving we’ll be giving and Christmas, waiting for the Light – and spring, LIVE AGAIN.

Hi Debra – I like this chart a lot too, because it tells us that nothing is permanent and that’s especially important to know during the bad times, but as you said so well, bondage also results in unity, unity in wanting to break out of bondage (when it really gets uncomfortable). However, the only reason why we end up in bondage is because of the stages we allowed to happen before bondage arrived – so there’s of course a bit of introspection involved and necessary during the bondage phase. What a wonderful, but challenging life! Blessings to you and thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m looking forward to Christmas too.

I’m already living for the next Lion’s Gate – and I don’t remember that before. And, I’m trying tesla’s create an experience 3 times in some order of next, before and after, and the subconscious fills in the picture. It’s a new monkey spiritual tool. 🙂 Blessings to you in advance – it already happened, for us… now we’re the one that’s at the end. 😉

PS: Yes, matching it to the tones is interesting – and to the Katuns too – nothing is static and change is constant. With the Maya tones and Katuns there’s generaaly a blend of positive and negative in each phase, while this cycle has a very clear rise and fall from postive to negative and back up again – the good news in the Freedom Cycle is that we can only go up from bondage in the cycle, it’s a low point, therefore it can only get better 🙂 (once we gather the faith and courage to get out of it)

It also made me think of the musical scale – the number of keys to the 13 is an octave.. and some healers are using high/low octave together as a healing vibration. The Hz frequencies have been helpful for staying in a zone. Zoned – that’s what I’ve been lately . LOL

Fascinating about the octaves and high/low frequencies that work together. In terms of the Sacred Calendar (Tzolkin) and the Mayan cross.. Well if we think about it, we need the high and low both for balance …
In a contemporary sense, everyday sense, if we go too low we lose touch with the spiritual and if we go too high we lose touch with material reality.
In the longer cycles affecting nations or civilizations it’s harder to maintain balance over time, so entire peoples end up regressing – it happened in the Roman Empire and others. On that level it’s of course kind of out of our control as individuals, so it’s best for us to concentarte on our personal balance – so … we rather focus on the Energies of the Day! 🙂 .
I presonally tend to look at the big-picture view (too), so I zoom way out trying to understand what’s happening in society cyclicly – problem is the more I zoom out, the more cycles I find! LOL

“when we go too high we lose touch with material reality” That sounds like a truth of reality , especially in the IMIX trecena – my head hurts. 🙂 I spent hours changing a TV channel – an attempt to stop thinking, but I found myself just sitting between channels. LOLOL Love, in lak’ech, Debra

    We are God’s eyes
    God’s hands
    God’s mind
    We are God’s eyes
    God’s hands
    God’s heart
    We are God’s eyes
    We are God’s hands
    We are God’s eyes

    Beautiful!
It reminds me of Holy Quran 8:17

A very cited verse, that Muslims scholars convey to mean God acts through us.

Thank you for this note – I love the fact that in spirituality there are universal ways of expressing the same sentiment and knowing – and what drew me to this song’s lyrics – if you know the background story of the singer/writer – she was homeless, in a real crisis – and she found that paying attention to her hands stabalized and balanced her emotional state – and then she recognized the higher power.
So, it’s universal to arrive at this conclusion (but, usually only when we are in despair) – much appreciate your comment!.

For me the circle chart gives me also hope that no situation, however bad, will remain the same! For me it is possible to break down, but also to stand up again, maybe getting strength from higher power!
