Update – 11 January ‘09

Has it already been more than 6 months since I’ve updated here?

First of all:  All the Very Best for 2009 to everyone!

May you travel far and wide, whichever method of travel you employ

I’ve been extremely busy for the past few months running up to Christmas. With my seasonal freelance job, August to December is the most hectic time of the year. Things should be cooling down soon and give me more time to get out and about and enjoy more of the glorious summer!

You can expect some activity on both my blogs during the next few weeks, as I’ve got quite a bit of updating to do.

What’s that? Any travel on the horizon??

I’ve added some selected images from my travels to St Petersburg, Budapest, Dublin and Jerusalem to the Gallery.

Update – 16 April, ‘08

Stage Area Closed

Well, I’m sorry to report folks that due to my selected “gigs” (from YouTube) becoming “no longer available”, I have decided to shut the “Stage Area” down. It was just not worth it any more to search for good content to imbed, write comments about and then to have it removed from YouTube – and from my posts. Anyway this leaves Gypsy Café as it was meant to be.

PS: Keep an eye out as I’m planning to develop my other blog more. (a public version of a private blog I’ve been running since 2004). Will keep you posted.

Update – 6 Jan ‘08

Here’s wishing everyone a craic-ing 2008!!

All my comments at the Stage Area have now been updated. I will be posting them at the same time as posts in future – no belated updates. Much of the music I choose relates to my travel experiences or to the overall theme of Gypsy Café – the comments provide some context and additional information.

The Gypsy Café Gallery is now open – these are very selected images, but more might be added.

Update – 9 Dec ‘07

I’m adding some pages (“rooms”) here and a few selected photo’s at the gallery will follow soon. At the Stage Area I’ve been more active and have been adding “gigs” on a weekly basis. I’m also adding comments to some of the older posts, so keep an eye open for them. Expect posting at Gypsy Café to be somewhat infrequent – Yet, occasionally posts and pictures will appear – after all, that’s why I’m here…
